There's always the DOS version of Check-It. :-)))
For a motherboard RAM report you take get any of the open source boot
managers and add a quick call-and-display of how much RAM is available.
There are a couple of different ways to get the number iirc; this would
certainly get around any operating system limitations because there
isn't one in the machine yet.
