Jordan,
You might consider XWorkplace as a way to fix your shutdown problems. XWorkplace
has an enhanced shutdown that includes the ability to run one or more programs from a
shutdown folder and a DOS command shutdown of the power your motherboard. The
OS/2 shutdown does not include the power off to the motherboard. I don't know what
ECS does??
