I used the Compuserve OS/2 forum a lot when Trevor Hemsley, Doug Yriart,
and Ron Higgins were sysops. Ron Higgins left before Trevor; then Doug
switched over to chief sysop of the Linux forum.
My memory says that Ron Higgins is, or was, connected with a company
laying fibre optic cable across the Pacific to Hong Kong or some place
like that.
If you really want to find out about Ron, get Trevor's UK address from one
of the os/2 newsgroups. He monitors some of them and posts messages from
time to time. Or try Doug at the Linux forum.
Sorry to chime in so late but something happened at my ISP. I got a whole
batch of old messages that were apparently lost.
