Thanks for your hint.
Unfortunately REM out is not a solution since some PCCard medias are
used !
My intention was more going to some specific parms to set the PCCard
slot's =
behavior accordingly to my (hopefully possible) wish(es) !!
It also makes no sense using i.e. a SlimSCSI host adapter with a
Streamer ...
=2E.. AND PCMCIA claiming a drive letter unnecessarily :-(
Is this possible ?

This is probably the PCCard Mass Storage Driver allocating drive
letters. =
If you don't have any of these devices, just REM out the driver.
