And we get much more useful data.

In your case, a simpler solution would have been to issue:

set ENDLIBPATH=d:\os2\dll

before starting dfsee.

Jan's directions are intended for those creatubg bootable diskettes or
CDs, so the normal procedure would be to copy the required DLLs to the
same media that contains dfsee.

This is the most likely cause for these errors.

The partition alignment is confusing fdisk. Every partition tool is
different in what kinds of odd conditions it will or will not accept.
That's why the recommendation is to only use one tool to create
partitions.

>Anybody have any advice as to how I can get this straightened out?

You have a number of problems which dfsee can fix. You can either work
your way through the documents and figure out the specific commands you
need or you can register dfsee and ask Jan for support. What usually
happens is once you provide him with the data he requests, he will provide
a set of commands to fix your specific problem.

Switching the jumpers back might allow things to work, and then again it
may not. If I understand your descriptions so far you have made multiple
changes at the same time.

Regards,

Steven
