I installed WinXP (ntfs) and Warp (hpfs) on my new machine (remember all the
problems I was having with the 40gb drive?) and I am not aware of any such
capability. WinXP sees the hpfs partition and thinks it may be ntfs because
it has the same partition code, but says the (hpfs) partition is not
formatted if you try to use it.
FAT16 or FAT32 partitions might be sharable... I've created files on the
same FAT16 partition (a few times) from both WinXP and Warp, so far without
any problems noted, but I am apprehensive even there because of Warp's use
of extended attributes; I haven't tried FAT32, nor have I installed eCs yet
although I expect to do so within a week.
Let me know if you find a solution for sharing hpfs partitions.
