It depends.

A "clean" system has only:
\Desktop
\Maintenance Desktop
\Nowhere
If things like:
\Temporary Desktop1
\Nowhere2
exist, they are indications of WPS failures that were not handled cleanly
by the user.

Good plan. You can always restore the Desktop if this causes problems.
It should not.
