Correct. Is is also that name used for several different, but somewhat
related features.

Think about it. It has to be a BASEDEV for the volume letter references
in DEVICE statements to work correctly.

Check you mailing list archives. I pointed Sandy to the links that
explained how to fit LVM to a Warp4 system.
