My Actiontec "Call Waiting' External modem uses the Hayes Compatible
actuation string. Hayes may work with the internal modem. It at worked
with the Courier Dual Standard external modem also, which was replaced
because it was a 28,8 modem. When 56k became available, USR wanted
$60.00 for the upgrade. I bought the Actiontec for a little bit less!
