I was successful in installing the Western Digital display addapter (the
WDC24 Panel) which allows to connection of monitor. I was hoping the
resolution for the display panel would increase, but it has remained the
same:640x480x16. The WDC24 Panel adapter allows for higher resolution in
the attached monitor, if there is one. The manual I found on line that
details the specifics of the computer indicated the best resolution was
that above. I could be faulty in my memory, but that is my recollection.
At any rate, upon starting the computer, here is the output I get:

"IBM os/2 LANMSGDD is loaded and operational
IBM os/2 LAN Protocol Manager
IBM os/2 NETBEUI 2.60.5
NETBEUI: Using 32 bit data segment
IBM os/2 NETBIOS 4.0
Adapter 0 has 225 NCBs, 130 sessions, and 21 names available to NETBIOS
applications. 3com os/2 Etherlink III PCMCIA Network Driver v1.6
*If no ELIII in PCMCIA socket, driver will timeout in 10 seconds.*

MPTS initialization is starting.
INETWAIT: Waiting for INET --max. wait= 30 seconds
ioctl (SIOCSIFADDR): Invalid argument
ifconfig: add net 192.168.1: router 192.168.1.100: (null): Network is
unreachable

add net default: router 192.168.1.100: (null): network is unreachable.

MPTS initialization complete
Press enter to continue... " Hit enter and system starts

The light on the pcmccia card is not on and I believe with the proper
driver it would be on. Is that correct?

Where do I go from here?
