Hi Steve and other listers
Well, I got a prompt and positive answer from PCsurplusonline =

regarding a possible delivery to Europe / Switzerland.
Unfortunately the payment procedures are not very well for me
here in overseas.

>Clearly Warp 4 recognizes and uses the IDE version of the LS-120.

I am / was not so clear about Warp recocnizing the LS-120 unit !?
When I built my first own system I wanted to install a LS-120 =

drive but had no success with OS/2 to get access to it ;-((
Therefor I am somewhat hesitating and asking again !

=

>It is reasonable to assume that the LS-240 is likewise acceptable, =

>even if only as an LS-120. But I can offer no hands-on experience.

My assumtion would be the same ...
=2E.. my little experience (see above) reminds me differently ;-(
=

=

>Dunno about Linux. But I can ask around. I've already posed the =

>question the local Linux list. Perhaps Dallas has better information.
=

>He's an active Linux user.

I am a totally illiterated regarding Linux however I administraded =

our company's UNIX resp. CTIX system in the later 80-ies. =

My first steps were just done with LINdows 3.0 and now 4.0 and =

with Knoppix (somewhat Debian) bootable from CD without touching =

the existing system environment.

=

>Now I'm curious too. Keep us informed of whatever you find out.

Well, me too ;-)
I have to get more definite answer from PCsurplusonline about =

the payment procedure and then I may buy and give a try ...
=2E.. you will hear about ;-))

Regards, svobi
