Would it be too hard to tell us the names of the driver(s) you put on the
diskette? My mind reading skills are limited. I suspect you have the
right ones on the diskette, but who knows.

>I go to install device
>drivers.

You need to try to be more accurate when you describe these things. A
pencil and paper helps. Otherwise, I have to guess. I suspect you used
the "Device Driver Install" object. This object can not install network
drivers.

There have been some name changes, but network adapters are installed the
same why in Warp3, Warp4 and eCS.

I forget exactly what the object is called in Warp3 and the LTE is back in
the closest. It's either LAPS, Lan Adapters and Protocols or MPTS. I'll
call it LAPS for now. It's in the System Setup folder. Open the object
and select the configure option and follow the prompts. There is lots of
online help. If you still have questions, just ask.

Just in case, you need both:

elpc3os2.nif

and

elpc3.os2

on the diskette.

>I continually get this message.

This is expected because you are continually doing the same thing. :-)

>Can I just put the drivers in the drivers folder and indicate where it is
>in config.sys ?

No. It's more compicated than that. You need to bind protocols to the
adapter.

HTH,

Steven
