They are Warpin install objects. If you look at \Desktop in details view
you should see some files with real names ending in .wpi.

Makes sense. They are supposed to be deleted at the end of the install.

I take it you can't shred them. If so, what's happened is the WPS delete
method has probably be overridden by the object to do an uninstall.

You can always delete the .wpi files from the command line. You can also
use Unimaint or your favorite object editor to clear the NODELETE flag.
