Actually the result is very different. All error message have the same
layout. The layout does not define the reason for the error. The content
of the error message defines the reason for the error.

The classpath is OK or v1.3.1, but I forgot to recall it needs to be
changed for v1.1.8. Add:

i:\java11\lib\classes.zip

to the end of CLASSPATH and see if that is sufficient to get the GUI
working.

True, but better to fix it now rather than have it not work when you
really need it.

This is probably a HOB configuration error. You might want to post a
query on the apps support newsgroup on the eComStation newserver. HOB
apparently can be finicky to set up.
