There's also a great little TZ utility packaged along with
Norbert Dey's Time868 (Hobbes) for choosing and setting your
TZ variable. It's called TZCalc, 81K.
It is very informative about other time zones as well as your own.
For example it shows that in So Cal. my TZ variable in config.sys
should be: TZ=PST8PDT, but the setting for Afghanistan is:
TZ=AST-4:30AST,1,1,1,0,1,1,1,0,0 (assuming no typos on my part).
