Hi Steven,
Yes, that did make a difference.

If I create a "compatibility" file, and I type the command:
format k: /fs:jfs

I get the message, "Partition must be type LVM"

If I then delete the volume and recreate it as a LVM partition, when I
type: Format k: /fs:jfs

I get the message:
System cannot see the specified drive.

DFSee can see it, but it is now a primary partition. It does say "K"
however.

Am I using LVM wrong, or do I need more files yet?
