If I run DIR from the command line there's a Total at the end of the
listing so I can see total number of files and bytes. DIR /S gives me a
similar total for the entire tree.

How can I do this for a folder on the Desktop? The Details view
(View->Details) shows individual file info but no totals. (I know I can
write a .cmd that I can drop the folder onto, but I'd like to know if
the totals are already available some way.)
