Don't worry. I got all the files, several times.

First error. You are installed the wrong driver for a 3c589. You want
the one with the title:

3Com EtherLink III PC Card OS/2

This will install ELPC3.OS2.

Correct. It's hard for the driver to find a card that is not physically
installed. EL90X.OS2 is for 3c905's. These are very nice cards, but they
definitely are a bit too big to fit in a PCMCIA slot.

I'll take a look at the files later when real work subsides.
