I own Graham also, and tried to use its HPFS defragger
a couple of weeks ago at Steven L's suggestion.

I cannot figure out how to make it work.

Here's the Help info:

[H:\GU20]hpfsdfrg /?
[HPFSDfrg, V2.01 - 12/11/97 - (C) Chris Graham - WarpSpeed Computers]
Usage: HPFSDfrg { -d -f -h -o -r -s -on }
-d Display defragged files only
-f Force file names to lower case
-h Hard disks only
-o Optimise files greater than extents; default of 2
-r Retry count; default of 10
-s Subdirectories
-on Run on
If no Drive Spec(s) are entered, the default drive only is searched

If I use the -o option I get this:

[H:\]hpfsdfrg -o5 -d -s H:\*
[HPFSDfrg, V2.01 - 12/11/97 - (C) Chris Graham - WarpSpeed Computers]
Attempting to optimise files with greater than 5 extents.
Press ESC to abort at next file.
Searching Drive H:

etc

In other words, I only want it to act on files with 5
extents or more, but it acts on smaller extent values
anyway (even 1) -- and then does nothing with those files!

What am I doing wrong here?

- Peter
