Is this done via packet-writing ? I had plenty of trouble doing packet writing (direct
to CD) with two successive models of Plextor burner. GHOST could do it under DOS
or Windoze, Drive Image never could. I don't think anything could do it under OS/2,
unless I totally misunderstand how RSJ works. I had thought that some app.s, like
Back Again, had an ability to write direct to cd without need for the assistance of RSJ.
That is how the packet-writing deal seems to go, when you are able to write direct-to-cd
in a non-OS/2 app. that offers this. In the case of GHOST and D-I, it is just a simple
driver that loads, although I could never get the one for D-I to work on a Plextor.

Hmmm, I knew about that capability, but have never tried it. I mostly use RSJ to write
CDs ("drive Z") via the ZTree file mgr., and that works quite well, although I have run
into a couple odd glitches on my system, in some cases. The RSJ Copy Wizard has also
been trouble-free.
