Another entirely viable option is to use two separate SCSI controllers.
Sure, it takes up two slots, but a single-channel U160 controller
can be had quite inexpensively (~$50?). One simply has HA0 and HA1.
The only considerations I can think of is that you have to load
the drivers for both, in the right order, and you use another IRQ.
With the current level of MotherBoard integration, most of us
have a free PCI slot. A free IRQ? Well, maybe ....
