This may be simplistic, if so, please forgive me...

1. You do have the Warp installation cdrom, right?

2. What size is the C: hard drive? Is it formatted (what is the format)?
What size is the first partition on the drive? I think large drives (over
4gb?) may require an updated driver on disk 0 (the first install diskette)
or disk 1; unfortunately I'm travelling this week and can't check my
diskettes).

3. When you say you've used "updated diskettes", what do you mean by that?
Did you download new diskettes 1 & 2 from the IBM OS2 driver pack online?

4. Have you taken a look at the config.sys on disk 1 (second diskette) to
see if something there is forcing it to go to C:?

5. Have you tried holding alt-F2 keys when the install diskette first
started loading OS/2 so that you could follow along as drivers are loaded
from disk 1 and disk 2? What was the last driver loaded?

6. Are disk1 and disk 2 a matched pair, ie, came from the same source at the
same time rather than just one being substituted for the original?

7. Do you have a running OS/2 machine from which you could create a new set
of utility disketttes (disk 1 and disk 2 from utility diskettes can be
substituted, I believe, for the corresponding install diskettes).

I'm not sure I'm qualified to help, considering all the problems I went
through on my install diskettes recently, but I think the answers to my
questions above may help someone else to assist you.
