I copied utilitiy diskettes from my working system onto floppies and
tried using them to install on the old pentium II. Not gonna
happen......when disk 2 was installed the system shut down. I tried
variations using newly created diskettes and old together with same
result: system shutdown. Finally, as a last attempt, I tried using the
original installation diskettes and they seem to be working. At least I
have gotten to configuration and final installation. Don't know what
happened, but the install seems to be working now.
Thanks
butch
