I'm inquiring mainly about the "T" series, but could / did any of the
Thinkpads offer
some provision for SCSI ? (That is, to drive an external device, such
as a scanner.)
This could be either optional or built-in.
Failing that, is there such a thing as a USB-to-SCSI adaptor, which
could be connected
to a TP's USB-out ?
I'm also wondering if latter-day TP's, such as the T-30, have USB 2.0,
rather than the
earlier, much slower 1.1 ?
