Wow, did I get a strange reply, looks like you nailed it:

I went to my ISP's website and it appears they have changed their nameserver
addresses, without notifying me, so I will try plugging the new addresses
into tcpcfg. Does it appear I've coded the right tcpcfg entries? Mine seems
very sparse to me, I seem to remember having more routes, but that may have
been before I got DSL and the router a couple of years back, and I know the
router handles most of it... I guess I need to get into the router to see if
the dns addresses are there, also.

The reply is immediate, like in milliseconds.

192.216.128.6 & 7 ... at least I think I'm using those addresses, assuming
my tcpcfg is properly set up, which is my question. As per above, I will be
changing the nameserver addresses to:
66.59.235.1
64.30.215.129

Not sure I understand the paragraph above. I'm unclear on what I'd be
looking for, and how to "surf using the IP address"
Here's the information I found at their website:
DNS Settings:
Domain: linkline.com
So CA. DNS Primary: 66.59.235.1
So CA. DNS Secondary: 64.30.215.129
E-Mail Settings:
POP3 (Incoming) Server: pop3.linkline.com
SMTP (Outgoing) Server: smtp.linkline.com
EMail Address: username@linkline.com
News Settings:
News (NNTP) Server: news.linkline.com
Authentication Type: None
Hopefully putting the new nameservers into tcpcfg will help, I'll report
back after a little experience with them.
Thanks, I think you got me pointed in the right direction.
