My mistake. I forgot that -c was required. Try:
mkisofs -v -b OS2UTIL.IMG -c boot.cat -o OS2UTIL.ISO k:/pm305
I'm not yet sure if this is why you got the error message you did, but the
-c is required. Also, to refresh your memory, here is the alias I posted
a few messages back:
alias isob mkisofs -v -o %=%ISOFILE -r -J -graft-points -b OSBOOT.IMG -c
boot.cat -path-list=pathlist.in -exclude-list=pathlist.out `%+` dir
%=%ISOFILED
Unless you have reasons not to, I would recommend using the -r and -J
options so the you get a Rock Ridge and Joliet compatible CD.
To display the content of the ISO you need to use the isofs file system
driver. See the Mr. KIA article on 4OS2 aliases for cdrecord. While not
intended to be a tutorial on CD buring, it shows all the commands you will
need at some time, along with a usable set of command line options.
HTH,
Steven
