Yep, that's a problem.  I don't think DFSEE offers ways to format partitions for other  
OSes . . .  but I could be wrong.

Yes, so have I, but we are advised not to use that (or any other FDISK-type tool), once  
LVM has been used on the drive.  (More than a year ago, I think the VOICE newsletter had  
an article that concerned ways to *carefully* bend that rule.)
