This and other installation issues are covered in:

odinuser.inf

There should be a copy in your Odin install directory. If not, there's
and older one at:

<http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/win32os2/odinuserman-20020423.wpi>

The files section of:

should also have a recent version.

It's not a stupid question since you don't know the answer. A lot has
changed during the last year or so that you have not been paying attention
to Odin. Check out the odinusers Yahoo group message archive to bring
yourself up to date.

FWIW, since you didn't say you ran it, I suspect you need to run OdinInst.

I don't run winos2 much these days, but I suspect your Odin problems and
winos2 problems are unrelated. Depending on what you broke, you might
need to reinstall winos2. If you do, not forget to reapply any base OS
FPs so that the winos2 code is at the same level as the base OS.
