Hi Steve,

Can't testify as to the operability of my unit, because I haven't
hooked it up yet. Waiting for the right time.

> How much did you have to pay for either/both?

I'd have to look this up to be sure, but I think the drive ran me
something like $34. The diskettes, from a different Ebay vendor,
proved a bit harder to find, and were a box of 10 for something
like $18. (?). I could probably put you in touch with either of
those vendors. The first one is a guy who scavenges all kinds of
(mostly new but left-over) computer parts, and is in Orange Cty.
The 2nd. guy did have more of the diskettes available, but you
gotta buy 'em by the box. They don't actually come in a box, but
that's a minor detail.

I thought that was a pre-arranged cash deal. Anyway, I had *long*
wanted one of the 2.88 drives, and still plan to swap it into a system
at some point. (I don't like changing h/w, until I absolutely have to.

I'm not one of those incessant tinkerers.)

No, I couldn't make it last month, but fully intend to be there on Sat.

It's probably just as well. I understand several people got lost
trying
to find the place last month, due to inadequate directions.

> Mebbe this is my month to ferget somethin'....

You mean, like all the other months ?? ;-)
