Fellow SCOUG'ers,
After reading Tony's Ink article on Wednesday, I purchased and
downloaded Open Office 1.1.1 yesterday, and now I am ready to try
installing it.

Has anyone else tried the "commercial package" yet?

The Readme.1st file is short on explanation. It doesn't even mention
Unzipping the single, huge file I downloaded, although I assume that
would be a good idea. It does say to start Installer.exe, and all will
be well, even if it detects Crystal Audio, which my PC has.

I just thought I'd ask for suggestions from anyone about what directory
I should Unzip into, whether you have Crystal Audio and have had to deal
with that for the Innotek tools, whether to include the Java 1.4.2 as
part of the install, etc.

Thanks for your help / suggestions,
Colin
