Hi Sandy
Did you notice that eCS is on LVM ...
=2E.. where Warp 4 is NOT !?

This may cause some problems !?

Exactly this is my reason why I do not share FDisk and LVM on same
systems !!?

Any advices are appreciated too, TIA svob=EF

Subject: SCOUG-Help: Dual Operating Systems

Running eCS and Warp 4 on the same computer should not be a problem, so
I
will try installiing eCS on a separate partition on week-ends in my
spare
time, while continuing to use Warp 4 for critical, daily functions.

My question has to do with transferring applications over to eCS from
Warp
4. The applications are all on a separate partition from Warp 4, and I
have two options:

1. I can copy the programs to yet another partition and reinstall them
under eCS. =

or, and this would be my preference,

2. Access the programs from eCS where they are now. The same programs
will
then be accessed from either operating system.

Any reason that should cause problems? =

The bottom line is that I don't want to do anything that could disrupt
what is now a smoothly functioning Warp 4 system.

Thanks, Sandy
