In WPS mode it supports Mozilla, TCPIP, PMView, Back Again 2000, Acrobat 3 and
some others. I'm still experimenting with my WPS setup. So far I've gotten Mozilla,
TCPIP, Back Again 2000 and Acrobat 3 to work. Using the CD, I double clicked on the
Mozilla desktop icon (in the Programs folder on the desktop). It took a while for Mozilla
to completely open (Mozilla is a big program). I placed a few URL's in the ULR window
(like SCOUG.COM and PCMAG.COM) and Mozilla went right there. I was very
impressed. I have yet to get PMView to work (have to fiddle around with the
configuration file). Also, I want to have bootAble copy my Mozilla bookmarks from my
hard drive to the CD.

I'm very impressed. Below, please find the latest information on bootAble, including the
website, where you can download the latest version:
HCM

I've release a new version of bootAble. Apart from fixing some bugs and
other minor improvements, the two major changes are that bootAble can
now be run interactively and that Mozilla support has been added.
Change log from the documentation:

v3.3 (05/06/2004)

* Greatly simplified (I hope) the use of the script; bootAble now
asks for values of settings that can not be determined
automatically. These values can optionally be written to a
configuration file for later use (i.e., this is an automated way
of creating a bootAble.myCfg);
* SCSI support now determined automatically when specifying SCSI=-1
(the default);
* Rich Walsh contributed bootAble.dragtext for adding dragtext v3.8
support;
* Rich Walsh & Doug Bissett contributed bootAble.injoy for adding
injoy support;
* Doug Bissett contributed bootAble.doip for adding DOIP support;
* Added Mozilla support (bootAble.mozilla, thank you Rich Walsh for
providing the essential detail);
* Doug Bisset adapted bootAble.firefox for adding firefox;
* Added extra check for the VIRTUALDRIVE setting (should point to a
2.88MB FAT drive);
* You can now configure the ini entries SYSDLLS LOADONETIME and
LOADPERPROCESS (SYSDLLS_LOADONETIME,
SYSDLLS_LOADPERPROCESS, see
bootAble.dragtext for an example);
* On top of normal text files (EXTRACREATEFILES), you can now create
binary ini files as well (EXTRAINIFILES settings), see
bootAble.dragtext for an example;
* APPROOT_ renamed to APPSRC_ in application configuration
files;
* Applications now get added to the \PROGRAMS directory on the
destination media instead of \OS2\APPS (e.g., acrobat reader now
goes to \PROGRAMS\ACROBAT by default instead of
\OS2\APPS\ACROBAT). This default destanation root can be altered
by setting APPDEST_ROOTDEFAULT (globally initialised to \PROGRAMS);
* Added setting ADDTOSEARCHPATH to simply add entries to the
(beginning of) SEARCHPATH;
* The SEARCHPATH is now verified; illegal and double entries are
removed;
* ...

(For the full list, please see the documentation)

Many thanks go to both Doug Bissett and Rich Walsh for extensive beta
testing and for providing improvement suggestions.

As always you can download the latest version of bootAble from
http://www.xs4all.nl/~hrbaan

Regards,
Hayo Baan
