Two problems:
1. If whatever was written to the ramdisk file needs to be saved, saving that file to a hard disk
and later retrieving it if the CD app is used again.

2. It has been my experience that copies from CD to ramdisk and hard disk keep their 'read only'
status. That has to be accounted for to make the file of #1 writable.
