That does not mean that the TCP/IP stack will not try to use the  
interface.  This is what I an seeing in the logs.  
 
To prevent the the wired interface from skewing the results, you need to  
stop the dhcp client and delete the interface with:  
 
  dhcpmon -t  
  arp -f  
  route -fh  
  ifconfig lan0 down  
  ifconfig lan0 delete  
 
To switch back to wired after hanging up the dial up connection just run  
 
 \mptn\bin\setup.cmd
