Hi Steven, 
Thanks for the prompt reply. I was not able to get OS/2 to talk to the 
router -- even though Windows did and said everything was fine. 
So I switched to an old backup router, and that seems to have fixed the 
problem! 
Hooray. 
I was using an SMC Barricade 7004ABR, and I will replace it. Does anyone 
have any suggestions for a replacement? 
I could stick with SMC or try something else.
