Maybe if you don't move anything it will. Since I first heard about
SCSI--15 years?--I have thought that the only individual users it was
for was those who enjoyed pain. I assumed the professionals had a
secret society that taught them how to control it.
Anyway, I am jealous of your particular success; it is using IRQ 3.
Mine seems to insist on using IRQ 11. That means the Fax function of WP
6.2b DOS won't work because it can only use up to IRQ 9. My ActionTech
is in my WEB machine and I put an external on my primary work machine.
Fax is OK.
That leaves me with a new challenge. It is getting difficult to get two
com ports on current MBs. I haven't been able to get the modem to work
on com 1, nor have I been able to get a serial port card to work under
OS/2. The only USB thing I have tried is a camera in disk drive mode;
that attempt has gone nowhere.
This business does not seem to be getting any easier.
Ray
