I don't remember an ON/OFF switch.
I think we're SOL on that point. I've thought of putting
an in-line switch in the cord, but I think I want/need to
switch off the pocket print server (I have the N model) also.

As for printing a status page, I'm pretty sure you
can do it, but I've forgotten which buttons to press.
Tonight, after I get home LATE, I can give it a try and
report back.

There is a mechanism for getting the ethernet-to-parallel
print server to print its status, but it involves dip-switch
manipulation and power off/on-ing. I've not had to do
that since I got it set up initially. So, I've forgotten
that too.

You may be able to revitalize old cartridges by soaking just
the nozzles in Windex. I use a coffee saucer with Windex in
the depression and the cartridge sitting so that only the
nozzles are immersed in Windex. Let it soak for a couple
of hours, even overnight it's stubborn. Then run a test page
or two to clean out the nozzles. Works for black & color
cartridges, sometimes. I've found some replacement inks are
too coarse or badly formulated and clog the nozzles right away.
Had to toss the cartridge.

Lexmark used to have some info online for their Optra Color 45,
Which is the same printer. Xerox never made this model,
just sold it.
