That's more like it.

Take a look with File -> System Ini File at:

PM_Workplace:ActiveHandles
PM_Workplace:Handles0
PM_Workplace:Handles1
etc.

Does anything look odd?

Looking at the checkini source code there's a couple of error paths that
return silently to the upper level. This will cause the message we are
seeing. I'm not sure what it will take to build checkini from source and
add the additional error checking.
