I received following and it looks interesting, either for OS/2 if supported
or if not, for other machines I support. Questions:
1-What do we know about this Sun solution's relevance to OS/2 in terms
of support and in terms of competitiveness as an ap solution compared
to SO, OO, SS or whatever?
2-What technology would I use to join in the discussion. I am innocent
of any knowledge of such applications. I have eCS 1.0 and Win98
running.
Thanks for all help
Jeffrey Race

11:00 a.m. Pacific, 2:00 p.m. Eastern
During this Ziff Davis eSeminar, Sun executives Jonathan Schwartz, Executive
Vice President, Software Group, and Curtis Sasaki, Vice President of
Engineering, Desktop Solutions will explain how the Java Desktop System's
combination of open source and open standards will lower costs, reduce
complexity, increase productivity and virtually eliminate virus attacks.
Better yet, they'll show you. Through a series of demonstrations - including a
peek at Project Looking Glass, the next generation 3-D desktop - you'll see just
how familiar and compatible Sun's alternative to Windows can be.
Then stay online for a Sun Inner Circle Expert Exchange event immediately
following. We'll have a large panel of business and technology experts available
