Well, all that means you have lots of problems that unimaint does not
catch.

This is normal if you have Object Desktop installed.

This is probably because you are running eCS and it has stupidly put:
set desktop=c:\desktop
in your config.sys. This causes more problems than it solves.

Interesting.
Assuming that Desktop is defined in config.sys, use the attached script to
correct the Desktop id and get rid of the SET statement. If you don't
have the set statement, let me know and I'll provide the script that works
without it.
