Config.sys seems reasonable. Boot never seems to get thru the basedev
list. The error is "Unable to operate disks". Tuning a sound card is
one thing, but why should I have to fiddle with an OS to get it to
recognize hardware that is clearly defined in the BIOS?
Or better yet, explain it to a potential new customer whose worst
installation problem has been to point Windows to the proper drive to
get the necessary files.
