Well, the sales guy at Quick Midnight Car Stereo had only one question
for me -- "How much money you got?"
Steve Carter mentioned a Blaupunkt (sp?) that plays MP3s on sale at
Fry's for $80. Otherwise it might be a Sony CDX-M?40 for $189. I may
change the speakers which have been in the truck for years and whose
cones are probably deeply suntanned by now. A few brackets to make the
thing fit. Labor, 'cause _I'm_ not crawling around under the dashboard
after all those filthy feet have been there. And tax, to keep our
government running as smoothly as it has been.
Maybe $300. Seems pretty cheap after the $1800 engine. :)
