	1	David, Steven is right! I wasn't thinking about the fact that you are really   
still booting from the installation CD. You cannot use altf2on.$$$ in that setup.  
 
	2.	I glean the following help from the FAQ.TXT file on CD#2:  
 
Q:  I booted from the eCS CD, after the "Boot Options Menu", I am   
    seeing the eCS logo, and my system just sits there with   
    no further action.  
 
A:  Boot again.  When you see the MemDisk boot screen, select "Boot from  
    eComStation CD-ROM", and then on the next screen, select "Boot with   
    menu for own values" and wait for the "eComStation BOOT OPTIONS"   
    screen to appear.  From there hit the key combination Alt-F2,   
    follow by "Enter".  
 
    The boot process will now display information about each of the   
    steps and you will know if a particular driver is hanging your   
    system.  
 
 
Can you try the above? It may help!
