Sorry, I don't see anything in the ECS Manual, or the FAQ.TXT file, that discusses
changing the pre-boot parameters to affect the display. However, I did read the section
in the manual where it talks about Notebook and PVMCIA support. The manual
specifically states that you should take extra care to verify the "Notebook and PVMCIA"
section of the ECS install, because the hardware autodetection in ECS 1.1 will not auto
detect the correct Notebook setup. Perhaps you should go back and review your
"Notebook and PVMCIA" selection.
The only other suggestion I can offer is to post your problem to the ECS installation
newsgroup.
