OK! I wanted to establish the actual driver culprit. So, it is the screen01.sys driver on
your notebook.
Right now I'm a little stumped for what's next, other than to consult the ECS newsgroup
for installation.
I looked at the ECS newsgroup for installation. I did a search on "screen01.sys",
yesterday, but did not find any discussion on that subject. You might try, however. There
is a David Rose, who has brought up a couple of topics in that newsgroup. Is that you?
Have you tried the install newsgroup for "screen01.sys hang"?
