I deduced that from your previous post. So, this afternoon, I REMed the
DANIATAP entry and tried the experiment again. This time, the process just
hung on the finalize procedure. The DVD drive activity indicated was lit but
there was no activity and the write indicator remained dark. As nearly as I
could deduce, by ear, the CD/R was not being spun up. After about 20 minutes,
I broke the process; then, I couldn't extract the CD/R from the drive. I
finally had to completely power down the system and restart it from cold in
order to get the drive open. So, I now have two coasters.
