Never mind all that.  What about all the union rates for players ?  If you ever  
wonder why so many film scores of the last 20 years (the minority that are still  
orchestral, I mean) show up in the credits as being performed by the Budapest  
Philharmonic, etc. -- THAT'S the reason.

This is not all that revolutionary.  I believe that most of the "audiophile"  
recordings that were supervised by Doug Sax were made this way.
