That's OK.  Most of us like to keep our user data out of the application 
directories, but that's not required.

You probably do need to maintain separate profiles.  IWB is still built 
with VAC.  Current Moz versions are built with GCC.  You can share 
bookmarks, mail and news data, but you can't share the profile directory.
