Need more help after trying everything and failing:
---------------------------------------------------

Update IBM 600E TP BIOS to INET36WW which IBM advises fixes "operating
system installation failure with CD-ROM boot"

Run eCS 1.1 Installer; Install Boot Manager; attempt to add H;
result: same failure as before to add H (HPFS) to Boot Manager menu

As control, try to add D E F G (all FAT partitions); can be added!

Run from Management Console (per Mike O'Connor, Alex, Glenn and others)

> LVM /NEWMBR:1

Executes successfully; return to command prompt.

Restart eCS 1.1 Installer; Select {Add to boot menu}; fails with error
"Your system reports a boot limit of 1024 cylinders.
Either create all bootable partitions near the beginning
of the disk or upgrade your system"

Remove IBM BM, reboot,

Rerun > LVM /NEWMBR:1

Reboot

Run eCS 1.1 Installer, install IBM BM,
fail to add H to boot menu identically to above

[Glenn Hudson says delete BM save exit of MiniLVM; tried this also]

Out of ideas.

In addition the machine cannot now be booted. Boot time screen
error code I9990305

Help please.

Try this to clear out any old boot manager code
boot install CD, delete boot manager, save miniLVM (without a boot
manager), reboot
boot install CD, open cmd window (shift+F3), run cmd 'lvm /newmbr:1', reboot
boot install CD, install boot manager, add volumes to BM, save miniLVM
(with boot manager), continue install
