In the past when I had dsl accessing the ecomstation server has at times  
been problematic; awget helped.   
 
Different situation, downloading multiple files - at least with awget (and  
wget), I can throttle the speed to a maximum for each download stream so  
that my entire bandwith is *not* 100% devoted to the download.  Example -  
at the most 3 download streams with each a maximum of 10 kbs.  Also with  
awget, just drag & drop and forget about it; if your system crashes or  
requires a reboot because of lockup, when you reboot, awget will restart  
where the download left off.
